2018 GRADUATE TEACHING AWARD
FOR STUDENT SUPPORT
Every Rice graduate student and alum who assisted an Instructor of Record in the fall of 2016, spring of 2017, or the summer of 2017 is eligible for the 2018 Graduate Teaching Award for Student Support.
This award was designed to recognize graduate students who have distinguished themselves in the support they provide to undergraduate students (whether during class, recitations, or office hours). To be considered, graduate students must first be nominated by an undergraduate student who was enrolled in the course for which the graduate student assisted the Instructor of Record.
Undergraduate students who wish to nominate a graduate student for this award should submit the short nomination form below no later than
11:59PM on November 1st, 2017

How their support contributed to student learning
The types of pedagogical strategies they used to help students learn
How they built rapport with you and other students
Their level of organization
