Agreement to Participate in Research
Civic and Community Engaged Learning and Research Survey
Responsible Investigators: Dr. Danika Brown and Chris Burbridge

You have been asked to participate in a survey to collect data on the integration of civic and community engaged activities in Rice faculty and instructor’s teaching and research and about resources that would be helpful in expanding those activities. This data will be used to evaluate and improve institutional resource allocation for civic and community engagement and to inform research on best practices for supporting high impact practices in higher education.

Completing the survey involves no risk to you. Although the results of this study may be published, no information that could identify you will be included. No service of any kind, to which you are otherwise entitled, will be lost or jeopardized if you choose to "not participate" in the study. Your consent is being given voluntarily. All responses are optional. You may refuse to participate in the survey. If you decide to participate in the survey, you are free to withdraw at any time.
