R-STEM Summer 2025 Summer Program Scholarship Application

Thank you for your interest interest in The Rice Office of STEM Engagement (R-STEM) student summer programs scholarship opportunities!

R-STEM is offering partial scholarships for student summer programs fees. These scholarships are open to students who meet the eligibility requirements for each individual academy and who attend schools in the following school districts:

Aldine ISD
Alief ISD Alvin ISD
Channelview ISD
Cypress-Fairbanks ISD
Fort Bend ISD
Galena Park ISD
Houston ISD
Humble ISD Katy ISD
Lamar Consolidated ISD
Pasadena ISD
Sheldon ISD
Spring ISD
Spring Branch ISD
Stafford Municipal School District

If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please follow the steps below:

• Fully complete the application.
• Please have teachers/staff members complete and submit their recommendations.
• Be prepared to attend the summer academy the week that you specified. If you are awarded a scholarship, that spot is reserved for you alone and cannot be transferred to another student if you are unable to attend.
